1) Terms
By accessing this School, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms, all applicable laws and regulations, and you agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this School. The materials contained in this School are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
2) Eligibility and account
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to enroll. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
3) Purchases, access, and delivery
Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the Programs you bought forpersonal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
Access duration is as described on the checkout page and product description at the time of purchase (e.g., lifetime access, fixed-term access, subscription). We may update, improve, or discontinue parts of the School, provided that we do not materially reduce what you purchased without a reasonable substitute where feasible, and subject to mandatory consumer law.
4) EDUCATIONAL DISCLAIMER / IMPORTANT NOTICE
This program (video course and/or mentoring) is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and does not replace diagnosis, treatment, or therapy by qualified healthcare professionals.
I, Paula da Costa Azevedo, am not acting as your child’s treating clinician. Participation in the course or mentoring does not create a doctor–patient or therapeutic relationship. Any decisions about nutrition, medical care, medications, therapies, or diagnoses should be made with appropriate qualified professionals (e.g., pediatrician, registered dietitian/nutrition professional, speech-language therapist, occupational therapist, dysphagia team).
Health & safety:
- If your child shows acute symptoms (e.g., breathing difficulties, severe swallowing issues, signs of aspiration, dehydration, persistent vomiting, severe pain, altered consciousness), seek urgent medical care immediately.
- If your child has known diagnoses, allergies, intolerances, failure to thrive, tube feeding, complex medical conditions, or takes medication, individualized medical supervision is especially important.
Results:
Individual results vary and no specific outcome is guaranteed. You are responsible for how you apply the information to your situation.
Mentoring:
Mentoring is individualized support but is not designed for emergencies or crisis care. For urgent concerns, contact local emergency and medical services.
5) Mentoring-specific terms (scheduling, communication, boundaries)
If you purchase mentoring, additional rules apply:
5.1 Scheduling and attendance
Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement via the channels we provide.
5.2 Time zone
All mentoring scheduling, deadlines for cancellations/rescheduling, and time-based notices are interpreted in America/Recife (Recife, Brazil) unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing.
5.3 Rescheduling and cancellations (default: 24 hours)
You may reschedule or cancel a session by giving at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours may be treated as used sessions, unless we choose to waive this in our discretion or unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
If you miss a session without notice (“no-show”), the session may be forfeited unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
5.4 Communication
Between-session support, if included, is limited to the scope described on the product page. Mentoring is not a crisis service; do not use it for emergencies.
5.5 Recordings
Mentoring sessions are not recorded unless you are clearly informed in advance and you give explicit consent. If recorded, we will communicate how recordings are stored, who can access them, and how long they are kept.
6) Privacy and explicit consent for health data (mentoring)
By purchasing or participating in mentoring, you understand you may share information that relates to health (special category data under GDPR). Where required by law, you provide explicit consent for us to process such health data only to provide mentoring and related support, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
You agree to follow data minimization: provide only information necessary for mentoring; do not upload extensive medical files unless specifically requested.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid to us for the applicable Program in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, unless a higher limit is required by mandatory law.
12) Links and third-party services
The School may contain links to third-party websites or services. We have not reviewed all such sites and are not responsible for their contents or practices. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement. Use of any such website is at the user’s own risk.

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version in the School. By using the School you agree to be bound by the then-current version of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
15) Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with the School or the Programs shall be governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Consumer protection notice: If you are a consumer, you may benefit from mandatory consumer protection laws of your country/state of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes, or overrides those mandatory rights. Where mandatory law grants you the right to bring a claim in your home courts, you may do so.
